Interlopers

Following a memorable city debut at the Undercurrent, the quartet return with their fully-formed set of acoustic indie pop songs and stories. And tickets are priced like a bottle of bachelor wine!

Interlopers are based around the long-gestating songbook of Andrew Armitage and mellifluous cello and vocals of Sarah Laing, backed by the solid sync of Phil Peleton on bass and David Morgan on percussion.

Mr. Morgan described their drummer-less incarnation as 'The Front Lawn' meets 'Violent Femmes' so they had no choice but to let him join. A few post-punk covers are thrown in for good measure, but their focus is on time-honoured song craft with a good measure of wit and wisdom.

Interlopers are as yet unrecorded, but you can check out their little live music video of 'Bachelor Wine' for a wee taster...
